I live in the SF Bay Area and this growing organization has done wonderful work in helping to clothe thousands of children for their first day of school. Most of these kids are living in temporary shelters, while the family saves enough money to get their own apartment. My New Red Shoes also works to educate all local youth about family homelessness.
